TO ULMO DIVING ADDAIA
Everyone who walks through the front doors of Ulmo's
purpose built dive centre is greeted by a welcoming smile. All
of Ulmo's friendly team are at your service and no request is
too big. |

| ULMO is based in the
commercial centre of the tranquil seaside village of Addaia, famous
for its long and sheltered natural harbour where Ulmos dive boats
are moored - 500 metres from the dive centre. ULMOS TEAM
are all qualified dive masters and upwards. They have undertaken
special training to ensure that all Ulmos guests experience a fun
and enjoyable time while still maintaining an extremely high level
of safety and awareness. Our secret of success is simple. We keep
dive groups small and never mix experience levels so that everyone
gets maximum enjoyment from their dive. There is always an experienced
"spare buddy" at hand to accompany any single divers.
NON DIVERS: It is of utmost importance to us that
everybody (divers and non divers alike) have the best time imaginable,
therefore we welcome non diving companions and offer them the opportunity
to experience the beauty of the sea by sunbathing, snorkelling or
with our try a dive program, so they can see for themselves what
we are all raving about. Our aim is to please, so any special requests
or desire are welcomed. Ulmo is at your service. |
| LICENSED:
Ulmo is one of only a handful of fully licensed and legal dive
centres on Menorca, we comply with all Spanish and European
Community laws and health and safety regulations. |

BOATS:
To offer our divers a better and more personalized service
we have 3 dive boats, a 7.5m purpose built hard boat and 2
x 5.5m ribs. All fully equiped and waiting to take you diving! |

DIVE SITES:
There are in excess of 30 superb dive sites, minutes away from
the port, offering a wide variety of vertical drop offs, reefs,
caverns…etc, all coral encrusted and alive with a magnificent
array of marine life. All viewed through 30m+ of crystal clear
visibility. The north East coast of Menorca boasts a far more
rugged and imposing coastline than the rest of the island. This
is reflected in all our dive sites with majestic rocky formations
and spectacular underwater landscapes. Just minutes away we
have some impressive caverns, Pretty Cave (Swiss Cheese), Grand
Cavern, The Chimney…
To name but a few. A few minutes further finds us in the marine
reserve for which we have special permission to dive, amongst
the scenic landscape is an abundance of protected fish life.
We also offer special trips to dive sites around the island
to the various wrecks and caverns, we do weekly night dives. |

| RETAIL: The sales area is
extensive, to answer all of your requirements. We are the main
Mares dealer on Menorca. We also stock Apeks, Aqualung, to name
but a few. There are qualified service technicians available
at all times to service, repair or advise on equipment. |

KIT: In the dive centre
there are 18 full sets of the latest equipment for rental, regularly
serviced and maintained. All regs are fitted with octopus, spg
and depth gauge. All the wetsuits are 5mm 1 or 2 piece, depending
on personal preference with an extensive range of sizes to fit
all. |

| AIR: Our 2 new onsite
compressors deliver 560 litres of clean, filtered dry air per minute.
The quality of the air is checked daily and the maintenance service
schedule is carried out twice as often as recommended by the manufacturers.
All the cylinders are steel and are 10L, 12L and 15L, all compatible
with DIN or international. Cylinders are available for twinning up
as long as you bring your own bands to suit your BCD.
CLIENT FACILITIES: There are rinsing and drying
facilities at the centre with a large area assigned for the
clients with boxes and racks for storing and hanging personal
equipment. Within the centre there are spacious bathrooms and
changing facilities, including hot showers. |
TRAINING: The centre has
a large, self contained and fully equipped classroom, which
is at the disposal of visiting instructors to use for their
own training purposes.
Ulmo is a PADI 5* Instructor development center and offers the
full range of PADI courses, from open water to instructor. A
wide variety of specialties and referrals are also available.
We maintain a high standard of diver education and training
incorporating maximum fun and learning in every course we do.
Ulmo's experienced instructors, under the direction of the proprietor
who is a PADI Master Instructor, have accumulated a vast amount
of diving knowledge and experience in the oceans and seas all
over the world. |
