THE IDC is held in our comfortable, relaxed and
fully equipped centre. The course is held in English and in Spanish.
The classroom is spacious and will be dedicated to the instructor
candidates throughout the duration of the course. There will be
master and staff instructors available at all times to help with
any queries or problems that may be encountered. For in water training
tanks and weights are provided, any personal diving equipment can
be rented from us.
THE COURSE DIRECTOR is multi lingual Christian
Heipfkemper who has a 100% pass rate, he is also a PADI examiner
so you are ensured the best training possible.
THE EXAM is spread over two days and will be held
directly after the course either in a nearby hotel or at the dive
centre itself.
YOU CAN BE SURE OF A RELAXED ENVIRONMENT AND ATMOSPHERE
DURING THE IDC AND THE EXAM.
EMERGENCY FIRST AID RESPONDER INSTRUCTOR COURSE
will be held between the IDC and the IE. The course takes one day,
it is performance based so no exam will be given. This is an important
course to do because, as instructors you will have rescue diver
courses to teach and all students need the EFR to complete the rescue.
ACCOMMODATION can be provided close to the dive
centre. This is a self-catering apartment and you may be required
to share a bedroom with a fellow student. There is plenty of study
space in the communal areas of the apartment. There will be a charge
of 100.00€ for the whole duration.
SOCIAL LIFE! Ulmo is well known for
its good atmosphere and comradeship. During the IDC you will
find your fellow candidates and other members of the centre
to be friendly and fun, giving a lot of support and help throughout
the course. Social activities will be to a minimum during this
time as study time is valuable. However, once the exam has finished
a little celebration needs to be done and we at Ulmo just love
a party!
